Education & Approach

I am not a licensed mental health clinician.

I offer coaching, practical tools, and tailored psycho-education to help you understand yourself and move through change with more clarity and steadiness.

My work is grounded in mindfulness, emotional awareness, and body-based practices rather than clinical counseling.

Training:

  • Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, Regis Jesuit University

  • Certified Therapeutic Breathing Practitioner, School of Integrative Psychology

  • Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, Grief Recovery Institute

  • Graduate supervision and internship with Voice Dialogue Institute, previously in Denver, CO, pre-cursor to IFS Therapy

Experience:

12 years supporting people in the breath. 12 years of nonprofit management and leadership supporting diverse and marginalized populations.

Breath is the most direct way back to yourself - in balance.

When your nervous system settles, you can see what’s happening inside you - without being overtaken by it.

This work is about:

  • noticing what’s happening in your body

  • understanding emotional patterns

  • interrupting automatic reactions

  • creating space to choose differently

  • reframing negative and limiting beliefs

  • releasing trapped energy and emotions

Your thoughts shape your life, but change doesn’t happen through thinking alone.

When the body and mind shift together, you get more clarity, steadiness, and presence, and as a result, relationships and circumstances improve.
